The Ends 1

I'm thinking of calling this series "The Ends". I don't know why. Maybe because I made a fat, effin' "end" at the end of it, virtually guaranteeing that I don't try to stretch it out into a long story.
Bang. Comic in a day.
Not that that was my only goal. I also just wanted to use the brush to make sure that things couldn't look pristine. I like the result.

You Germ 02:02 (detail)

So, the cool thing, is I finished two new panels. The bad thing is I really don't like my second panel (YG 02:02).

I just overworked it. And secondly, it just doesn't convey its information clearly (I agree with you, M).

I think I'm going to skip it (not scrap it), and just do another one. It's fine though. Failure's healthy, once in a while. Keeps you honest.

As you should know, I call this group of work the "You Germ" series.

The reason why I'm hovering around that title is the idea that I am not separated from you. Your ideas, gestures, cultural displays (clothing, hair styles, etc.) are almost impossible to ignore and have not affect (infect) me...

Here are a couple more drawings for the You Germ Series. The characters are beginning to show some of their "powers"...

Tip for Rapidograph users.

I broke my brand new .13 rapidograph pen.

The .13 makes the smallest width of line from Rapidograph. When I was in the middle of IT'S YOU, NOT ME, I realized I needed a pen that could detail and corner text beyond what my .25 could do. I was very excited to get it in the mail and was very happy with its detailing ability (which can be seen in the vertical stripes in the shirt of You Germ: D).

These pens get clogged and you're need to clean them often...
